Our remediation process begins with a licensed team member inspecting the property, searching for all areas of possible contamination, including spaces that may not be immediately visible. This may involve crawl spaces, HVAC systems, and ductwork.
After conducting a thorough inspection, our team removes all contaminated materials, which can require the complete or partial removal of walls, ceilings, and flooring. We take care to ensure that no contaminants are left behind that could cause health issues for your family or employees. If necessary, we use biocides to slow the growth of microbes.
With your property now free of mold and contaminants, our licensed contractors can begin restoring your home or business to a clean, comfortable, and safe environment.
Common Types Mold
Hazard Class A – Toxin
Molds in this group are either directly hazardous to health due to risk of infection or creation of toxins. They should not be in homes or workplaces and should be removed right away if found.
Hazard Class B – Allergen
While Class B molds are considered to be less hazardous than Class A molds, they can still have an adverse effect on those exposed to their presence. This can also cause damage to the structure of your home, which is why it is also important to remove this type of mold from your immediately.
Hazard Class C
Molds that are classified as Class C cause no harm in general to human’s health. However, they can be detrimental to the structure of your home and it can be unpleasant to the eyes. This is why it is also important to remove any traces of any Hazard Class C molds.
Our team will arrive as quickly as possibly, normally with minutes, to inspect your property. We will take whatever action is necessary to prevent further contamination. At that time, we can also determine what category risk you are facing.
We use air & water testing to verify your category of risk. With this information in hand, we can make decisions regarding what materials can be salvaged and what has to be replaced. It also helps us understand if the use of biocides is necessary.
Stopping the flow of water into the structure is the first critical step. Once the leak has been stopped, we will use commercial-grade equipment to remove any standing water and/or contaminants. Next the area will be sterilized, the air filtered through HEPA filtration, and dried.
Once the property has been inspected, tested, treated and restored to its original condition, the process is documented. The prepared documentation can be used for adjusting, reimbursement, and insurance claims. We are happy to work along side you when applying for your insurance settlements.
